Learn to grain-paint with decorative painter Riley May at Polk Presidential Hall in February!

In conjunction with the current exhibition "Chairs For Freedom: The Life and Craft of Dick Poynor," the James K. Polk Memorial Association will be offering a two-part grain painting class with decorative painter Riley May. Mr. May will teach the class to grain paint in the 19th century style. Participants will learn to grain oak, rosewood, and mahogany as well marbling. The classes will be Saturday February 13 and February 20 at 10am at Polk Presidential Hall.
